SH-EA4HP Workshop – Hematopathology in the Pediatric and Adolescent / Young Adult Populations
Dear Colleagues and Friends,
On behalf of the Society of Hematopathology (SH) and European Association for Hematopathology (EAHP), I would like to invite you to Cincinnati, Ohio to attend the 2025 SH/EAHP Workshop from September 4th – 6th. We look forward to meeting you in person to share knowledge and discuss the latest advances in pathogenesis, diagnosis and prognostication of malignancies and reactive disorders encountered in the pediatric/AYA patient population.
The 2025 SH-EAHP Workshop will focus on the malignancies and reactive disorders encountered in children, adolescents and young adults (AYA), many of which present preferentially or exclusively in this age group. It is the first SH-EAHP workshop in 22 years to focus on the hematopathologic disorders of this patient population. A major emphasis of the Workshop will be to highlight advances in our understanding of the molecular pathogenesis, particularly as they relate to the diagnosis, prognostication and clinical treatment of these disorders and the post-therapy detection of measurable residual disease using flow cytometric and next-generation sequencing-based molecular approaches.
The Workshop will include an exciting scientific program as well as events to foster networking and collaboration with the aim of making the Workshop both scientifically and socially engaging. The Workshop is collaboratively organized by hematopathologists from three leading pediatric hospitals, including Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. The Workshop’s invited faculty and speakers include internationally recognized hematopathologists, oncologists, and investigators who will emphasize recent advances in the pathogenesis, diagnosis and prognostication of malignancies and reactive disorders encountered in the pediatric/AYA patient population.
Updates on the workshop will be regularly provided on the homepage. CME-Continuing Medical Education will be provided.
